Mobile phones

In general the department can supply a mobile phone if required by ones job. Model is decided by ITS. If a different model is required a different funding is required.

IT Support has a few phones for conferences or other temporary use. Contact itsupport@compute.dtu.dk to borrow one.

Mobile phones and SIM cards are ordered through itsupport@compute.dtu.dk.

Setup instructions are found under individual sections like e-mail, VPN, Eduroam or Android tips e.t.c.

Extend time before call is transferred to answering service

The default setting is 15 seconds before unanswered calls are transferred to the answering service. With the DTU Telenor subscription, that time has often almost passed before your phone rings for the first time.

To extend the time to 30 seconds, key in:

**61 followed by 60 500 000 followed by *11* followed by the wanted time (5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30) followed by #

Activate by pressing the call key

Avoid spaces in the string you key in:
**6160500000*11*30#
