Summary
A 32 core/256 GB RAM linux application server hms1 is now in operation.
Details
The server is running Ubuntu 8.10 and has standard 3rd party application SW installed (matlab, sun studio, R, SAS, etc.). See description of the linux grid for more info. The server will be running in a "pilot phase" until the end of January (please report missing SW, etc. to IMM IT Support). At the end of January '09 a 2nd server will be added and integrated in the SGE gridengine.
