Autocad
There is a free version for students and teachers, if you can make do with that, you should be able to register and download here: http://www.autodesk.com/education/free-software/autocad. The commercial licenses are very expensive.
MagicDraw
DTU Compute has bought an academic site license for MagicDraw products.
It includes:
- MagicDraw UML FR
- Cameo Simulation Toolkit Plugin FR
- Cameo Business Modeler Plugin
- Merge Plugin FR
- SysML Plugin FR
- MagicDraw UML FR Teamwork Server
Can be installed from S:\MagicDraw\ or you can download directly from www.nomagic.com. (S is mounted from \\nas1.imm.dtu.dk\software)
It will be made available from DTUs software download page .
Obtain a license from ITSupport
Maple
Maple is installed on DTU Compute's Linux Grid and thereby available to all users at DTU Compute on these systems.
Mathematica
Mathematica is installed on DTU Compute's Linux Grid and thereby available to all users of DTU Compute's ITsystems.
DTU has a Mathematica site license allowing Mathematica to be installed on all computers owned by DTU. The license covers only employees regarding installation on personal computers. It does not allow for students to do this. More info on the DTUMathematica site license can be found here.
Matlab
Matlab is offered to all users with access to Linux Grid at DTU Compute. DTU Compute offers only concurrent licensed Matlab on the before mentioned central systems.
Matlab in general at DTU
For Matlab two types of licenses are available at DTU: A concurrent (net) License and a Stand-alone License. Stand-alone license are available for staff and students.

Octave
Octave is a high-level language, primarily intended for numerical computations. Octave is installed on DTU Compute's Linux Grid and thereby available to all users of DTU Compute's ITsystems.
Octave is free software under the GNU General Public License (GPL) and can hence be downloaded and installed from the Octave homepage.
R
R is a free software environment for statistical computing and graphics. R is installed on DTU Compute's Linux Grid. More info in general on R can found here
S-Plus
S-PLUS is installed on DTU Compute's Linux Grid and SunRay system and thereby available to all users of DTU Compute's ITsystems.
SAS
SAS ("Statistical Analysis System") is installed on DTU Compute's Linux Grid system and thereby available to all users of DTU Compute's ITsystems.
WPS
WPS http://www.teamwpc.co.uk/ DTU Compute has a Mixed Commercial & Academic license. The software will be installed on a G-bar server.
