GDPR-Friendly Software

The canonical list of tools and web-based services, where DTU has centrally negotiated data processing agreements, include:

• share.dtu.dk (Local DTU server. Create sites and collaborate with internal and external users, share files, collaboratively edit documents) Will soon integrate with MS Teams.

• learn.inside.dtu.dk (LMS for course activity, messages, files, etc.)

• Möbius/Maple TA (External tool for grading and assignments)

• dtudk.zoom.us (Voicechat and meetings)

• MS Teams (Voicechat and meetings)

• filesender.deic.dk (Send files)

• DTU Office 365 (Offices programs, Teams, Sharepoint, Onedrive, etc.) (Do several things of above, but in one place). DTU has centrally negotiated data agreements with Microsoft concerning the use of Office365, but these cloud services should not be used for sensitive personal data.

For all research datasets containing personal data, the placement and processing shall be approved by DTU Compute PD-coordinator and registered in a DTU GDPR record. Please contact datasupport@compute.dtu.dk.
