MFA
DTU requires the use of Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication, together with DTU credentials (username + password), when connecting to various systems and platforms such as email.
Setup
Phone
You need a mobile phone with the Microsoft Authenticator app (recommended) or a telephone number that can receive SMS messages.
Browser
Start a browser in incognito mode (Google Chrome) or Private mode (Firefox), InPrivate mode (Edge), or Private browsing (Safari).
Go to https://portal.office.com. Log on with your username appended with @dtu.dk (i.e. xxxx@dtu.dk) and the password you have set.
Procedure
Follow the guidelines as shown on the screen.
